Get in the Ring!
I want to fight.
Not out of rage or anger—but because I know that if a match looms on the horizon, I’ll be driven to rise to the occasion, to put in the sweat, the grind, the discipline necessary to prepare. There's something about the certainty of a battle that sharpens the mind and body, and I've got friends ready to train me for it.
The timing? Perfect. January, during the Silicon Slopes Summit or Tech Week. That’s when I'll step into the ring.
I’ve got zero boxing experience, and as much as I wish I could just download the skills like Neo in The Matrix, that's not an option. But there's a fire in me, and I’m willing to put in the hours to learn, to train, to fight.
Logan and Jake Paul—distant cousins of mine—have lit up the world with their entertainment, fighting, and showmanship. They’ve brought something raw and real to the stage, and I believe Utah deserves that same energy. The kind of spirit that shakes things up.
So in the spirit, I’m calling out Ryan Smith—the man bringing sports entertainment to Utah. Ryan, let’s step into the ring this January.
I’m not under any illusions here. You might very well kick my ass. Hell, most people will probably come just to see that happen. But I’m securing the venue, selling the tickets, and my friend Paul Mayne has already whipped up some killer promo posters. All you’ve got to do is show up.
The fight is going to happen. Tickets will be sold, bets will be placed, and one way or another, this will go down. If you decline, I hope another Utah tech CEO or founder has the balls to step up. I’m ready for anyone.
In fact, I want to line up four other fights too. Politicians, CEOs—how about the Crumbl and Dirty Dough CEOs going head-to-head? There’s something primal about settling things in the ring, and I think it's time we bring that energy to Utah.
Let’s make this happen.

Non ai photo of me today with my favorite potential fight. Also this Guns and Roses song I had to listen to at a friend’s house in 1990 so my parents didn’t hear it.
