I love how the USA did a $2 billion investment at the time to bring the best physicists from around the world to Los Alamos to do a startup.

The startup was to make a bomb, so that was a little different than starting a cookie franchise or game for the iphone.

What do you think the government of USA is doing now that is as big as the Manhattan project? They better be doing AI.

Why were Einstein and Oppenheimer the last well known scientists?  Is Mark Zuckerberg or Elon a scientist?
