Numbers or Letters

I often feel torn between my love of numbers and my love for letters and the words they make. I excelled at writing essays in English class and failed at solving equations in algebra.  I am sure many of you are excellent at both, but I struggled to figure out numbers.  Then, one day, I learned about rate. Yes, the concept of adding time to any number blew my fucking mind.  I read every book I could find in the High school library about the concepts of interest rates, investment returns, rates of this and rates of that.

Time is always in the equation with rates, so you have to practice patience to make rates work in your favor.  We seem to all really want to change or slow the rate of aging, which is the rate of our cell reproduction.

I am challenged in deciding if I am to focus on numbers or letters as I choose how to use my time in this opportunity around longevity. I feel like I am supposed to use words as a natural born words person and the number people are supposed to use numbers. But then I remember my love of numbers when I learned about rates. So I am going to be both and see if I can figure out how to squeeze out 150 good years of life.
