Tour de France

I will be in this area of Italy when the famous bike race happens. This is the first time it’s started in Italy and it ends in Nice. Paris is too busy with the Olympics the following week.

I am not a major fan of Tour de France, but I like all the experiences I can have. I will try to find a town to go to with the rental car we have on July 1. Here are the places I can see the Tour from. Do any of you have suggestions on cities I should be at?

Also, on the 29th, Italy and Switzerland play each other in knockout stage of Euro Cup. I will be in Switzerland that morning and could stay or go to Italy for the game. I want to end up in a great bar or location to view this game, making another fantastic memory.
