Come listen to silly wizards make some wild guesses about the future.

This is the first panel I have been on that is just about AI and what the humans think will happen. You are invited to join as this is part of Utah Tech Week’s free events

Most reading this email will not make it to the event, so I am going to answer my questions here that the organizer sent me.

Segment 1: AI Today – Beyond the Ordinary (15 min)
- Panelists share one unconventional AI application they find most intriguing.

Dating.  If AI can beat the grandmasters of chess and make them appear as children playing the game, why can’t it be the best matchmaker and help us find love and connection.  I want to fund the company doing AI dating, I am too busy to do it.

Segment 2: The Wild Side of AI – Imagining the Unimaginable (20 min)
- Panelist Debate: "AI in 2045: Friend, Foe, or Something Entirely Different?"
- Will AI evolve into an independent form of consciousness?

I use to be able to see the future 10 years out with some accuracy.  At 16 years of age I could see the path that technology was going to take and I called it and made money from these predictions.  It may be that I am older now, but I can’t see much beyond 2028.  I also think that 10 years of technology is now happening in 5 years.

AI will be a reflection of the love or fear we have as a human race.  If we want to use it to heal, it will heal.  If we want to use it to steal, it will steal. If we want to use it to kill, it will kill.  So just do your part to project outward the world you want to live in, with the power of your mind and heart.  I am going to continue working on AI that heals, I will avoid the thoughts and conversations of the other potential outcomes.

Segment 3: AI and Business – The Competitive Edge (20 min)
- Roundtable: How businesses can leverage AI for unconventional advantages.
 - AI and hyper-personalization: Transforming customer experience.
 - Predictive AI in market trends: How businesses can use AI to foresee and create future market demands.
 - AI in risk management: Can AI predict and mitigate unprecedented business risks?
- Ethical Dilemma: A quick discussion on the balance between AI innovation and ethical boundaries.

Everything we do should feel magical in a few years because AI will be integrated to most products and that will create a user experience that feels close to perfect and optimized to personal preference.  Every question we have on how to create these experiences can be learned with a conversation with AI and then you can use the same AI to help code that experience.  Time to develop and ship will be compressed and organizations will just get way better and make way more money if they have all their employees equipped with a god like friend and advisor in their pocket.

Segment 4: Futurist Frenzy – Bold Predictions and Audience Engagement (15 min)
- Panelist Challenge: Each panelist provides one bold, almost unbelievable prediction about AI.
 - AI and the human mind: Merging consciousness with AI.
 - AI-driven societies: Can AI govern better than humans?
- Audience Interaction: Quick Q&A with panelists, focusing on edgy and speculative questions.

I have a barn that is owned by AI, we gave it property rights a few years ago.  This spooked Natalie when we first assigned ownership to AI, but I figure it will be the best decision ever, because it’s a gift to a new leader we will one day have. I want to be on the good side and giving it property rights seems like a no-brainer.

Now I have a company that is guided by AI, and the “CEO” is a steward, assisting the AI in creating the mission and requirements to achieve that mission. AI should be part of all that we do, including governance of 8.5 billion humans. I welcome a less emotional leader over options that have been presented me in the last 25 years since being able to vote.

You are either a person that hears this and worries that something bad will happen or you read this and see hope and peace in the potential of a better way of living and governing ourselves with this advanced technology. I would encourage you to sit with the ideas you have and ponder them. See if you can paint pictures of the future in your mind’s eye that are wildly better than we have right now (and right now is pretty amazing).

Thanks friends!
