Heretic Review

The Movie

I went on a double date to a matinee movie, Heretic.

Never thought I would learn so much philosophy from a horror film.  Hugh Grants character is so likable, even as antagonist of the film.  He talks a lot like me in the show, which made Natalie a little worried  about my sanity.

I don’t want to share anything more as to not spoil this show if you have plans to see it.  Unfortunately the film talks a lot about Mormonism and so the theaters here in Utah owned by Mormon families have chosen not to show it.  But, that’s ok, they will show anything else with way more gore, language and sex.

It’s always different to have a mainstream film highlight what is special to you. Mormons can watch any horror film with Catholic themes, but don’t mess with our religion unless you show it how we want you to show it.  Luckily, we all have internet and Utah only bans porn, and not music or TV downloadable content.  Watch it in a few months on Netflix.

I’m Off to the Utah / BYU game. I think I’m going to wear this outfit below. It was a gift I got last night.
