Answer to the Riddle…

If you read my post 2 weeks ago about the Riddler, you should read Kirk’s response today below:

Hi Serge,

Today marks the one year anniversary where you asked why you hung up on our initial call.

Scott and I both served missions for the church we grew up in. Our missions were quite stringent, we went 2 years going door to door sharing religion with complete strangers, so we are quite familiar with the feeling of being rejected.

Your rejection stung, a little differently, because in our research of you we pedestalized you a bit for your previous success and life experiences. Scott and I reflected on it deeply then, and intermittently throughout the last 12 months.

I have decided that it's not important whether or not I answer your question correctly, because the correct answer to me is the one that is most useful to me. I believe you hung up on us because you felt that we were insincere and inauthentic in what we were doing and you have a personal principle of minimizing bullshit in life that could distract you from your goals.

This answer is useful to me, because it leads me to believe deeper in the idea that sincere, hyper focus on an idea for a sustained amount of time is the key to manifesting what I want in reality. If I can't authentically hold focus on what I want to accomplish, I cannot manifest it.

I spent the last year holding that focus, and this month our first production shipment of our first product was delivered.

Thank you for the rare, wonderful, and entertaining lesson and story for us to remember and reflect on for the rest of our lives.
