This is my 100th Email

I have been at this for 3 years. I used to do them once a week, then I burned out and took a break. Now I am back and have posted almost 60 days consecutively.

Welcome to the 100th email! If I make it to the 420th, I promise to throw a celebration for all you who stick with me. that would be December 1st of this year, if I stay consistent! I really don’t know if I can make it that long. My mental health devil on my shoulder tells me to quit so I can go back to the days of no obligations or daily tasks. But… maybe humans need ONE or TWO things a day they do no matter what. For me that is walking up, brushing teeth, and writing you all.

I really feel that I will succumb to AI writing my emails…right now I am using my fleshy fingers for each word and each misspelling and error. I originally had a goal to make this the last human blog that was still kicking in 2027. By that year, very few people will be typing without ai companionship. So far, I am only using ai for my images and thumbnails and sometimes I ask it to make the best 5 grammar changes. I refuse to even edit my “voice” with it because it makes me appear so much smarter and eloquent than I am.

320 more days of my human frailty, mostly unaided by bots, I give unto you until we party on a cold December day. Actually Nov 30th is a Saturday, so we will do party that night and send out the big 420th email on Dec 1st with a photo of us all having some fun.
