Mind Palace of Phi
I created a challenge for my team at Phi on our discord channel. I wanted to see how many digits of the number Phi could be memorized. I offered $10 per digit with no cap. Our incredible developer, Tina, got to 50 digits, but her husband made a story to get to 100 digits of phi and got $1000 dollars for it. Here is the video:
It took about a week to memorize this and he would do 30 minute sessions a day using this story in his mind (Expedition 33 being a video game he recently played).
1 man 6 in 1 morning 8 (ate), 0 (zero things), but when on his expedition 33 and killed 9 nevrons 8 and 8 again his 7 friends 4 9 days we 8 9 Nevrons and repeated 48 hours and 48 hours again and then another 2 days passed until he finally saw 0 enemies We showed up to my race 45 minutes later in my 86 trueno where we had 8 34 pieces of chicken for 365 days and eventually pulled up My dad who was almost born in 63 who lived in apartment 811 at that time rolled 7 7 but the last number was a 2 so he got 0 dollars 3 times!! In 09 I was almost 17 with my cousin who was born in 98 picked up 0 girls but met 5 friends waiting at the 76 gas station I found jeans that were size 28 that my 62 year old uncle had wore with a 135 yen pen in his hand that he had 4 48 hours That 62 year old uncle had a 27 year old son with 0 friends but $526 thousand in etherium that belonged to 0 people only 4 himself The 62 year old uncle saw his 81 year old mother and his daughter born in 89 with 0 kids that worked 24 hours 4 days a week* My roommate who was born in 97 where I met around 07 in hotel room 207 where I partied for the until I was 20 4 years I found a penny from 1893 that reminded me of 911 that sold for $374
Here is a video showing one way to do a mind map or memory palace.
The challenge has concluded, and I love what a little money prize can motivate people to do and what we can learn in the process about the power of our brains.
